Advocacy Services
A special education advocate is an expert who provides guidance and support to families and individuals to obtain the necessary services for a child with a disability. Special education advocates are well-versed in disability law and understand the workings of school districts and open-enrollment charter schools.
As an advocate, I offer essential information to help you understand the educational options available to you based on the law. Being better informed enables you to make more confident decisions, making the decision-making process less overwhelming.
I believe I have a moral responsibility to support, guide, and educate families with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively navigate the complexities of special education law and the educational systems that support their students with disabilities.
